Watch it work.

Pour a dose straight into the water and let the filter run — the green haze drops out and the pool goes clear. No draining, no backwashing marathon.

What people are saying.

Real results, real water.

“Pool water was cloudy all summer no matter what I did. Added this and within 24 hours it was the clearest it’s been since we installed it six years ago. Absolutely stunned.”
KMKaren M.Houston, TX · Water clarity
“Green swamp water after a week of rain and a bad algae bloom. I was ready to drain the whole thing. Used this instead and it was crystal clear in two days. Saved me a fortune.”
DRDave R.Orlando, FL · Algae & green water
“I’ve spent hundreds on pool chemicals over the years trying to get that sparkling blue water. This little bottle did more in 48 hours than everything else combined.”
BTBrad T.Scottsdale, AZ · Water clarity

Drag it. Same pool, one dose apart.

That green haze isn't just dirt — it's a cloud of particles too fine for your filter to catch on its own. A clarifier clumps them together so they drop out and the water goes clear.

Crystal clear in three steps. No draining.

1Pour it in

Add the dose straight into the water, ideally near the return jet so it spreads. No pre-mixing.

2Let it circulate

Run the pump. The clarifier binds the fine, filter-dodging particles into clumps big enough to catch.

3The filter clears it

The filter traps the clumps and the water turns clear — usually by morning. Heavy bloom? Dose again.

A real clarifier. Not a chlorine top-up.

Cloudy water is a haze of particles too small for your filter to catch. AquaClear binds them into clumps big enough to filter out — so the water actually clears, instead of you dumping in more chlorine and hoping.

It clumps the fine particles

The haze is dust, pollen, dead algae and body oils suspended in the water. The clarifier coagulates them into clumps your filter can finally trap.

It works with your filter

No draining, no refilling, no backwashing marathon. You pour it in, the pump runs, and the filter does the removing while you leave it be.

It clears green and cloudy

Algae-bloom haze, storm run-off, pollen season, a busy pool weekend — the cloudiness they leave behind lifts and the water goes clear.

A dose versus draining the whole pool.

Cloudy water usually gets "fixed" by dumping in more chemicals and hoping, or draining and refilling. Here's why the water's still green.

What actually turns up.

AquaClear pool clarifier bottle
What it is
A concentrated pool water clarifier. Not an algaecide or a chlorine top-up — it clears water that's already gone cloudy.
Size
100ml concentrate. A little treats a lot of water — several treatments per bottle for most pools.
Format
Pour-in liquid. Dose straight into the pool near the return jet; no pre-mixing.
Time to clear
Usually overnight with the pump running. A heavy green bloom may want a second dose.
Scent
Low odour.
Handling
Keep the pump running while it works, and clean or backwash the filter afterwards. Store out of reach of children; keep off skin and eyes.

One bottle for cloudy water.

If the water's gone hazy, green or dull, this clears it — and it's honest about what it isn't.

Use it for
  • Cloudy, hazy or dull-looking water
  • Green water after an algae bloom (brush first)
  • Cloudiness after heavy rain or a storm
  • Dust, pollen and fine debris in the water
  • A pool after a busy party weekend
  • Opening or closing the pool for the season
Don't rely on it for
  • Sanitising — it's a clarifier, not a chlorine substitute
  • A heavy algae infestation on its own (brush & chlorinate first)
  • Balancing pH or alkalinity
  • Working with the filter off or bypassed — it needs circulation

Get the chlorine and pH roughly in range, keep the pump running, and let it circulate. That's the whole routine.

Four things that make it work better.

None of this is required. All of it helps.

01Balance the water first

Get pH and chlorine roughly in range before you dose. A clarifier clears particles — it isn't a sanitiser, and it works best in balanced water.

02Keep the pump running

The filter does the removing, not the bottle. Run the pump for a good few hours — ideally overnight — after you dose.

03Clean the filter afterwards

It'll be full of the clumped particles it caught. Rinse a cartridge or backwash a sand filter so the flow stays strong.

04Brush a green bloom first

For heavy algae, brush the walls and floor and let it circulate before you dose, so the clarifier can grab what's loosened.

Restore Labs

We got tired of products that need you to do the work.

Walk down the cleaning aisle and almost everything is the same thing: water, a surfactant, a fragrance, and a promise that you'll supply the elbow grease. The bottle cleans nothing. You clean it. The bottle just watches.

Restore Labs exists to make the small number of products where the chemistry does the job instead of you. That means fewer products, made properly — a degreaser that actually degreases, a rust remover that actually removes rust. If we can't make one meaningfully better than what's already on the shelf, we don't make it.

AquaClear does the same for cloudy water. It's a concentrated clarifier you pour straight into the pool, and it binds the haze into clumps your filter can catch. You pour. The pump runs. The water clears. That's the entire product, and it's the entire promise.

A green pool, clear by morning — pour a dose, run the pump, done.

More clear pools.

Pour in, run the pump, done.

“Spring opening and the water looked like a swamp after sitting all winter under the cover. Added this along with shock and the pool was swim-ready in less than 48 hours.”
PSPriya S.Charlotte, NC · Pool opening
“Had a stubborn algae problem that kept coming back every few weeks. This knocked it out completely. Haven’t seen it return in two months. Really impressed.”
THTom H.Phoenix, AZ · Algae & green water
“Neighbor told me about this after I complained about my cloudy pool for the third summer in a row. Tried it and I genuinely cannot believe the difference. Water is flawless.”
LWLinda W.Nashville, TN · Water clarity

Getting hold of us

A real inbox, answered by a person. If something arrives damaged, send a photo and we'll sort it — no returns runaround on a bottle of pool clarifier.

Before you ask

How fast does it clear the water?

Most cloudiness clears overnight with the pump running. A heavy green bloom can need a second dose and another circulation cycle — still no draining.

Will it work on green algae water?

It clears the cloudy haze a bloom leaves behind. For heavy algae, brush the walls and get some chlorine in first, then dose — the clarifier clumps what's left so the filter catches it.

Does it replace chlorine?

No. It's a clarifier, not a sanitiser. Keep your normal chlorine and pH routine — this clears water that's gone cloudy despite it.

How much water does one bottle treat?

It's a 100ml concentrate — a little treats a lot. Dose to the water volume on the label; most backyard pools get several treatments from one bottle.

Do I need to drain the pool?

No — that's the whole point. You pour it in and let the filter do the work. No draining, no refilling, no wasted water.

Is it safe for my liner and filter?

Yes, used as directed, on standard pool surfaces and cartridge or sand filters. Clean or backwash the filter afterwards, since it'll be holding the particles it caught.

Will the water be safe to swim in?

Once the water's clear and your chlorine and pH are back in normal range, yes. Follow the dose and wait time on the label.

Shipping and returns?

Every order ships tracked, dispatched within 1–2 days, typically delivered in 8–14 days. If it doesn't do what this page says, you have 30 days to send it back for a full refund.

Your pool's been green long enough.
